Welcome to Easy CDL Truck Driving School

Started in 2018 we offer a pleasant and welcoming environment where you are treated like family an. What separates us from others is our patient approach, flexible schedule, and the focus on quality. Unlike other schools, we do not yell and scream at our students while rushing to get them out. Whether you are looking for a complete Class A training course, the DMV required 15 hour ELDT, or just want hourly practice on the truck, you have come to the right place.

On this website you will find all the study material for permit as well as pretrip/airbrakes. We believe that information should be free, and are the only school in Southern California to provide this free of charge to everyone.

DMV PERMIT

The first step in order to apply for a Commercial Drivers License is to obtain a Learners Permit from the DMV. You will need the following documents

  • Social Security number
  • Passport / Green Card / Work Authorization
  • Two proof of address – such as car registration, utility bill, rental agreement, bank statement, or similar
  • D.O.T. Medical Exam obtained at one of these places:
  • Sepulveda DOT Exam – 7301 Sepulveda Blvd #3, Van Nuys, CA 91405
  • Ventura DOT Physical Exams – 738 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001 (mention Easy CDL for a lower price)

 

Use the following phone app to study for your permit test at the DMV

  • For Class A you will need General, Air Brake, Combination Vehicle
  • For Class B you will need General and Air Brake
  • And Passenger for any type of bus license
