At Easy-CDL our goal is to help you build the skills one needs to enter the trucking industry long term. Starting 2022 we are now offering only FMCSA approved ELDT CDL courses for class A, B, and passenger endorsement. We offer a flexible training schedule, as well as training on the weekends.

COURSE OUTLINE
We offer three programs for class A that prepare you for the test. They are parking, driving, and classroom.
Class B program can be done much quicker, due to no trailer for parking.
Below is the parking course outline that we follow:
- Forward stop box
- Straight line backing
- Forward off-set
- Reverse off-set
- 90 degree alley dock (optional)
Classroom - Pre trip inspection - complete truck inspection including lights, brakes, tires, fuel/def tanks, fifth wheel, and more.
Classroom - In-cab inspection - complete in-cab including dash, windshield and wipers, emergency equipment, and more.
Classroom - air brakes - pressurizing system, applied leakage test, low pressure warning, spring brake popout, governer cut-out, governer cut-in, emergency brake test, parking brake test, service
Driving - proper speed, turn signals, turns, distance, observation for bicyclists, intersections, railroad tracks, freeway, stop signs
Driving - Shifting - upshifting, downshifting
PRETRIP

OBTAINING THE PERMIT
2. Download the DMV Commercial Driver Handbook (or pick one up at the DMV)
3. Install the following phone apps - CDL Prep 2019 (RED ICON), DMV Genie
4. Read the handbook once or twice - sections General, Air Brakes, Combination Vehicles
5. Practice tests - practice General, Air Brakes, Combination Vehicles (no combination vehicle for class B). Once you get 90% on practice tests, you are ready to go to DMV for the tests. Keep in mind - you will have to take your class C written test too, -*and M1 if you have that also.
6. You will also need a DOT medical exam before you go to the DMV - it should not cost more than $50 for the exam.

PRICING INFORMATION
We offer a program for new drivers as well as for those who have previous truck driving experience. The only requirement for class A or B is a learners permit from the DMV, and if you dont have one, call our office and we will help you obtain it. Posted prices are CASH prices. Check will need to be cleared for two weeks. As of December 2021, we no longer accept cards due to fraud.
